PLAY GOLF
Opening Hours & Bookings
The course is open from daylight to dusk, seven days a week. Other than large social groups, no bookings are required.
The course is available for social play from the 1st tee outside regular competition times detailed below:
- Monday – between 9.00 am and 9.30 am
- Thursday – between 7.30 am and 8.30 am
- Saturday – between 7.30 am and 10.00 am
- Sunday – between 8.30 am and 9.30 am

The clubhouse is only open during golf competitions, but visitors are welcome to sit and enjoy the view from our verandah before or after their round. Toilet facilities are also available at all times adjacent to the 6th green.
In early December 2022, the Dungog club became the first in country NSW to introduce a virtual Vendi Golf Pro Shop, which includes a Vendi Golf Terminal offering a selection of golf accessories, drinks, snacks and confectionery for you to purchase. This is a great service when the clubhouse is not open.
Golf Fees
Green fees for social golfers are:
- $15.00 for 9 holes ($3.00 for juniors)
- $20.00 for 18 holes ($5.00 for juniors)
Fees may be paid at the course with cash via an honesty chute or by credit card using the new credit card terminal provided by the Vendi golf company.
There is also a vending machine provided by Vendi Golf now available, which has golf accessories, drinks, chips and confectionery available at all times, even when the clubhouse is not open.
As of the start of December 2022, there are now Motorised Golf Carts available for hire also from the Vendi Golf company. Just go to the Vendi Golf website to book your golf cart.
For social golfers, there are also a number of sets of golf clubs and pull buggies available for use on a “first come, first served” complimentary basis. All these facilities may be found near the entrance walkway.

Golf competition days, times and entry fees are detailed below:
SATURDAY
Member golf competitions are held on Saturday mornings from 7.30 am and typically finish around 12.30 pm. Members from other clubs with a current GA handicap are always welcome to play unless there is a special club event. Competition Fee = $15.00.
SUNDAY
There is a “Quick Nine” competition on Sunday morning commencing at approximately 9.30 am (the time does vary on occasion), which is open to both members and non-members. Competition Fee = $10.00.
MONDAY
The club is again proud to have a Women’s golf competition on Monday mornings (after an absence for several years), commencing at around 9.00 am. Members from other clubs with a current GA handicap are welcome to play unless there is a special club event. Most weeks, there is a nine-hole competition and an 18-hole competition. Competition Fee = $10.00 for 9 Holes and $15.00 for 18 Holes.
WEDNESDAY
During the Daylight Savings months, there is a 9-hole Twilight golf competition on Wednesday afternoons from 4.30 pm, which is also open to both members and non-members. Competition Fee = $10.00.
THURSDAY
On Thursday, a Veterans competition starts at 7.30 am and finishes at approximately 12.30 pm. Competition Fee = $15.00.
